You are all invited to the opening of a group exhibition in what will, hopefully, be known as McGinn's Photo Pub. The official opening is at 6pm Friday 20th and the exhibition will run for approx. a month. (cf for more info).
Associated with this exhibition is a unique, signed, one time only in this format, book that has been donated to Croí, who will be auctioning it at some later stage.

20% of all sales at the exhibition will be donated to Croí.

Gift Vouchers now available and images added to panoramas gallery

I am glad to announce the immediate availability of Gift Vouchers on the web site. Access to vouchers is through the button on the top right. This will bring you to a page where you can choose vouchers of various denominations or combine any number of them to get a final figure that you will be happy with. Payment is as with everything else on the site, either through Paypal, cheque, postal order, or with cash at the market stall at the weekends. A physical voucher, or an e-mail version, can be sent to either you or your nominated recipient and can be redeemed through the website or in person at the market. Crinniú na mBád 2010

Two galleries of images from Crinniú na mBád, the traditional gathering of the boats at Kinvara, Co. Galway every August. Both sets were taken on the Sunday of the festival. Set 1 'Kinvara' are from around the harbour prior to the racing. Set 2 'Sailing", well you guessed it, sailing from the event.

Landscape gets photoshopped by winter

The month long cold snap that enveloped the country gave everyone a new perspective (either good or bad) on the country. For those that were lucky enough to appreciate it, it was as if the landscape got a new coat, revealing nuances that were previously hidden. This collection of images is a selection taken on a couple of days during this snap and includes images from around Headford (my new home) and Connemara.
